Creer Cup Team signs off 2011 with T20 win
Balmain Sydney Tigers' Creer Cup team continued their battle for first with a 7 wicket T20 win over Macquarie University at Jubilee Oval today.
Having restricted Mac Uni to 110 off their 20 with a great opening burst from Sam Goldsworthy and Paddy Dinham, brothers Jordan & Noah Schwalger-Sach took 4 wickets between them with Joseph Gorta and Paul Chekaluk bowling tidily at the finish.
Sam and Noah got us off to a flying start putting on a quick 30 before Sam was joined at the crease by Matt Page. After 10 overs we were 83-2 and it took 5 more overs to negotiate the win leaving the Tiger's equal top at the halfway point of the season.
