The annual Gala Day is this Sunday 21st February at Morrison Bay Park. It will commence at 8am and run till approximately 1pm. 

The day caters for our younger age groups from In2Cricket to U10. Match format is Super-8 played in round robin against teams in the same age group. A points table will be maintained and prizes awarded to the teams with the most points in each age group.  

Registration is $10 payable to each team's gala day co-ordinator. 

The Gala Day is our main fundraiser for the season with BBQ, canteen and coffee facilities available on the day. Our raffle this year has 2 excellent prizes (refer separate news item for more information):

1.  NSW Speedblitz Blues bat signed by the entire 2009/10 NSW cricket squad - kindly donated by Kingsgrove Sports.

  

2.  2 private lessons with Elite Cricket to improve your game under the instruction of expert coaches. 

 

Draws and other relevant information will be emailed to all players participating this week.

 

Additional Information 

1.  The Gala Day will proceed regardless of rain.  It will only be postponed if there is torrential rain for consistent period prior to the day. 
2.  The Club president will make the decision at 6.30am on the morning of the 21st, and a notice will be published on the Club website advising if the Gala Day has been postponed. 
3.  If the Gala Day has to be postponed, it will be re-scheduled to the following Sunday, 28 February 2010. 
4.  Each team rep should ensure that they check the website by 6.45 am on the morning of the Gala Day and confirm by text to all players that the day is proceeding/postponed. 
5.  It would help us if the team representative could register all his team and pay all registration fees together at start of the day, rather than individually ($10.00 per player – Nil for In2Cricket).  The same for raffle tickets and monies collected prior.
